Work Environment\n

As a remote-based team member, you will have the flexibility to conduct therapy sessions from home. Our standard operating hours are Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing you to maintain a balanced lifestyle while delivering quality care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate the severity and frequency of mood disorder symptoms in clients, using validated tools and methods.

• Collaborate with clients to create individualized treatment plans that address their unique mental health needs and personal goals.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), ensuring effective treatment outcomes.

• Provide education and support to clients and their families concerning mood disorders, effective treatment strategies, and self-care techniques.

• Regularly monitor clients' progress, adjusting treatment plans as required to optimize their mental health outcomes.

• Work in close collaboration with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers, ensuring an integrated approach to client care.

• Engage in continuous learning to stay informed about the latest research and treatment modalities for mood disorders.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation of client interactions, in compliance with legal and ethical standards, using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• Participate in team meetings and case consultations, enhancing clinical skills and contributing to the collective knowledge of the practice.

• Advocate for clients by promoting the destigmatization of mental health issues and ensuring their mental health needs are prioritized.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals experiencing mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our diverse clientele includes adolescents, adults, and seniors from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds, each with unique challenges and stories. Your role will be instrumental in providing them with the tools and support necessary to navigate their mental health journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LMFT in the state of Illinois.

• Proficiency in evidence-based treatment modalities such as CBT and DBT, particularly for mood disorders.

• Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology to effectively collaborate with psychiatrists and other healthcare providers.

• Proven track record of treating mood disorders successfully, supported by measurable outcomes.

• Exceptional communication skills with the ability to build rapport with a diverse client base.

Preferred Experience\n

While a Bachelor's degree is the minimum requirement, candidates with a Master’s or doctorate in relevant fields and prior experience working in outpatient settings will be given preference. Experience with electronic health records and teletherapy platforms will be advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
