Work Environment\n

As a telehealth facility, our practice embraces the flexibility that remote work provides both our therapists and patients. This setting allows clinicians to connect with clients in a comfortable environment, promoting openness and honesty in discussions about mental health. Your workweek will typically run Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM, with some scheduling flexibility to accommodate patient needs and preferences.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough and culturally sensitive mental health assessments for new and existing clients, ensuring each patient is understood holistically.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans based on evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the individual experiences of clients.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on addressing mental health challenges, fostering resilience, and supporting emotional strength.

• Engage in multidisciplinary collaboration with other healthcare professionals—including psychiatrists and psychologists—to provide comprehensive and coordinated care for clients.

• Respond to crises with timely interventions, developing strategies that help clients navigate mental health emergencies effectively.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, providing insight into treatment options and community resources that might benefit them.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation in alignment with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems efficiently.

• Participate in regular case conferences and team meetings, contributing to a culture of collaboration and continual learning within the practice.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will involve working with a highly diverse group of clients, including individuals from ethnic and cultural minorities, LGBTQ+ clients, and immigrants. Qualifications\n

• Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current, valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Psychologist in the state of Texas.

• Extensive knowledge of mental health disorders and evidence-based treatment approaches, with a strong emphasis on cultural competence in therapeutic practices.

• Demonstrated experience providing individual and group therapy using methods that are culturally relevant and sensitive.

• Exceptional crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor during challenging situations.

• Familiarity with EHR systems and related technological applications.

Compensation and Benefits\n
