Key Responsibilities\n

• Maintain an active caseload of clients, developing strong professional relationships founded on trust and ethical practices.

• Conduct regular client meetings to monitor progress, discuss therapy outcomes, and plan for appropriate discharge when necessary.

• Create and implement individualized, person-centered treatment plans tailored to each client’s unique needs and goals.
\n
• Keep meticulous documentation and progress notes for all clients, ensuring compliance with organizational and legal standards.

• Administer comprehensive intake assessments, evaluating clients' histories and mental health needs.
\n
• Participate in regular individual supervision sessions to refine therapeutic techniques and enhance professional development.

• Collaborate with other healthcare providers to ensure holistic care for all clients.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As an LPC at Elmira Counseling Services, you will provide care to a diverse range of patients, including adults and children, each presenting varying mental health challenges. You will evaluate and treat individuals from different backgrounds, ensuring that your therapeutic approach is inclusive and sensitive to the unique contexts of each client. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling or a closely related field.

• A current, unrestricted Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license.

• Demonstrated experience in an outpatient clinical setting, with at least one year of post-graduate experience.

• Proficient in technology tools, including Excel spreadsheets, RMS systems, Outlook, and PIMSY.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience providing direct psychotherapy services to individuals and families.

• Comfort with conducting intake assessments and managing a diverse caseload.

Compensation and Benefits\n
