Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to develop tailored therapeutic strategies for each client.

• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, couples, families, and groups, focusing on effective outcomes.

• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy, to meet client needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to provide holistic care, ensuring that all aspects of a client's well-being are addressed.

• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, including workshops and conferences, to stay abreast of current trends and research in mental health.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily serve clients from diverse backgrounds who may have limited access to mental health care. This role requires sensitivity to issues such as socioeconomic challenges, cultural diversity, and unique family dynamics. You will work effectively with clients experiencing various mental health concerns, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Possession of an active and unrestricted LPC license in the state of New Jersey.

• A minimum of two years of direct counseling experience, ideally within a clinical setting.
