Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate patient history and needs, identifying appropriate treatment strategies to foster recovery.

• Design and implement personalized treatment plans that promote resilience, recovery, and long-term mental health improvement.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities, such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate sessions focused on helping clients process traumatic experiences, develop coping strategies, and cultivate emotional healing.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists and multidisciplinary professionals to coordinate comprehensive care for clients facing complex mental health challenges.

• Respond to crises promptly and provide compassionate support during trauma-related emergencies.
\n
• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and available mental health resources.

• Ensure compliance with legal and ethical standards through accurate and confidential documentation of patient interactions and treatment progress.

• Participate actively in case consultations, ongoing training, and professional development initiatives that focus on trauma-informed care techniques.

• Stay informed about the latest research and trends in trauma therapy to continually enhance therapeutic practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role focuses primarily on individuals who are dealing with various trauma-related mental health issues, including but not limited to PTSD, anxiety disorders, and emotional regulation challenges. Our client population ranges from children to adults, and the therapist will engage with clients from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique experiences and needs.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW within the state of Washington is essential.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience is preferred, showcasing applied knowledge in trauma-informed care.

• Demonstrated understanding of trauma-related disorders and familiarity with trauma-informed methodologies is critical.

Atlas Psychological and Counseling Center offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 104,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
