The typical work schedule runs from Monday to Friday, from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, with occasional evening shifts based on patient availability and needs.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to understand the unique circumstances and objectives of individuals seeking treatment for substance use disorders.

• Collaborate with patients to create personalized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based therapeutic interventions and support strategies.

• Facilitate individual counseling sessions, employing methodologies such as motivational interviewing and cognitive-behavioral therapy to foster personal growth and recovery.

• Lead group therapy sessions that encourage peer interaction and shared learning among individuals in recovery.

• Provide crisis intervention when needed, demonstrating the ability to handle urgent substance-related emergencies with professionalism and care.

You will primarily work with individuals suffering from substance use disorders, many of whom are seeking assistance for the first time. Our patients come from diverse backgrounds and face unique challenges. Your role will involve building trust and rapport to help them navigate their recovery journey and achieve their long-term goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current, valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in New York State.

• Understanding of substance use disorders, including knowledge of evidence-based treatment modalities.

• Proven experience in providing both individual and group therapy within substance use treatment settings.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating an empathetic and non-judgmental approach to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits\n
