Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct detailed assessments and evaluations that inform individualized treatment plans tailored to address each client’s unique mental health needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions to individuals, groups, and families, utilizing a variety of modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other techniques that resonate with our clients.

• Ensure coordinated care through close collaboration with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals, contributing to a holistic approach in supporting our clients’ wellbeing.

• Offer crisis intervention services and support to clients in acute distress, employing your clinical expertise and empathy to navigate difficult situations.

• Participate in community outreach and educational programs to advocate for mental health awareness, actively working to diminish stigma and improve community resources.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a wide array of clients, ranging from adolescents to adults, who present with various mental health concerns, including anxiety disorders, mood disorders, relationship issues, and trauma-related conditions. Each interaction offers you the chance to enhance your cultural competence as you engage with clients from diverse ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an independent and active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD).

• A master's degree or doctorate in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology is mandatory for the role.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling the development of strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Demonstrate cultural competence, sensitivity, and an understanding of the diverse populations you will serve.

• Strong organizational abilities are required for managing documentation and maintaining timely records of client interactions and progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience in a community mental health setting or outpatient therapy practice is highly regarded.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record (EHR) systems for documentation and communication is preferred.
