Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health evaluations, crisis interventions, and assessments to facilitate effective treatment planning.

• Determine the appropriate mental health care disposition for patients and coordinate their treatment with other behavioral health providers.

• Lead group therapy sessions tailored for individuals experiencing mental health challenges and provide educational support to patients and their families.

• Ensure all patient interactions and treatment plans are documented accurately according to compliance standards and facilitate smooth transitions during discharge planning.

• Participate in weekly clinical supervision and engage in ongoing professional development to continuously enhance your skills.

• Collaborate with the Department of Correction to ensure access to necessary mental health care and appropriate housing for patients.

• Contribute to case conferences and treatment planning discussions that focus on developing comprehensive care strategies based on individual patient needs.

• Possibly administer psychological assessments as assigned and mentor social work interns or students in clinical settings.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on supporting adults and adolescents facing mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use. By applying your expertise in mental health counseling, you will help clients navigate their symptoms and achieve their personal recovery goals, fostering resilience and empowering them to make informed decisions about their health.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling is required.

• A valid state license, including the ability to obtain a license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), is essential.

• Strong communication skills and the ability to engage with patients in a compassionate and empathetic manner, particularly in a virtual setting.

• Experience with documentation, adherence to compliance standards, and familiarity with telehealth platforms is highly preferred.

Compensation and Benefits\n
