Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive mental health assessments to understand the backgrounds and needs of our clients and develop tailored treatment plans.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions, applying techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness practices, or trauma-informed care tailored to individual client needs.

• Facilitate individual, family, and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space where clients can express their concerns and build resilience.

• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists and psychologists, to ensure all clients receive comprehensive, coordinated care.

• Provide crisis intervention and support during mental health emergencies, effectively assessing risk and implementing safety plans.

• Educate clients and families about mental health conditions and available community resources, empowering them with knowledge and tools for recovery.

• Document client interactions and treatment progress using electronic health record (EHR) systems while adhering to legal and ethical standards of confidentiality.

• Stay engaged in ongoing professional development to remain abreast of best practices and emerging trends in mental health therapy.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in New York.

• A strong foundation in mental health disorders, treatment approaches, and cultural competency.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy with an emphasis on culturally responsive practices.

• Excellent crisis intervention skills with a calm demeanor in stressful situations.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients from various backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, offering between $70,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
