Key Responsibilities\n

• Manage a caseload of clients by establishing trusting relationships that foster open communication and therapeutic progress.

• Conduct regular progress reviews with clients to assess their stability and determine the need for ongoing treatment or potential discharge.

• Design, implement, and continuously evaluate person-centered treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation, including clinical notes and treatment progress reviews, compliant with state and federal regulations.

• Perform detailed intake assessments to understand client backgrounds and mental health histories.
\n
• Ensure a minimum of scheduled individual therapy sessions per week, adhering to established clinical protocols.

• Engage in regular individual supervision and professional development opportunities to enhance clinical skills.

• Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals to deliver holistic care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Conejos, you will primarily work with youth experiencing a range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral challenges. Your role will involve engaging these young clients in constructive dialogue and therapeutic activities designed to build resilience, promote emotional intelligence, and support their overall development.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in a mental health-related field is required.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in New Jersey is necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
