Key Responsibilities\n

As a Youth Focused Mental Health Clinician, you will have a wide range of responsibilities to ensure comprehensive care for your clients:

• Conduct regular meetings with clients to discuss their progress, stability, and upcoming appointments, while preparing for appropriate discharges when necessary.

• Maintain accurate records and progress notes in a timely manner, ensuring compliance with internal and external documentation requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role specifically focuses on youth clients, requiring a sensitivity to the unique challenges faced by this demographic. Counselors will be equipped to address a variety of mental health issues prevalent among adolescents, including anxiety, depression, behavioral issues, and trauma. Providing compassionate, informed, and culturally competent care to our youth is a fundamental aspect of this position.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s Degree in Mental Health or a closely related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• Evidence of ability to meet internal credentialing requirements in relevant clinical settings.

• A minimum of one year of experience in working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.
