Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough ongoing assessments to evaluate and address the individual needs of each client.

• Actively engage with supervisors, direct care staff, family members, and other stakeholders to discuss client progress and share insights.

• Develop and provide a tentative schedule of client appointments, including telehealth sessions and home visits where necessary.
\n
• Facilitate home visits to perform in-home assessments, review client charts, conduct staff interviews, and analyze relevant data.
\n
• Ensure all program plans are executed effectively and modifications are made based on client progress.
\n
• Participate in Interdisciplinary Team Meetings to discuss client care strategies and contribute to developing treatment methodologies.
\n
• Document monthly and quarterly progress notes to track client developments and treatment efficacy.
\n
• Organize and lead training sessions to enhance staff competencies in implementing program plans and maintaining accurate documentation.
\n
• Provide ongoing follow-up through interviews and observations to ensure continued support for clients’ evolving needs.
\n
• Maintain comprehensive records to facilitate information-sharing among team members and other stakeholders.
\n
• Serve as a liaison between the mental health community and public, enhancing collaboration towards developmental goals.

• Assist in creating user-friendly procedures for training materials, focused on program improvement.

As a Licensed Professional Counselor at Mind Crafts Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse clientele, including adults, youth, and families. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Psychology, or a related field is required.

• Must possess an active and unrestricted Professional Counselor (LPC) license in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of 2 years of counseling experience, preferably within a clinical context.

• Familiarity with family and couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or addiction therapy is highly desirable.

• A strong understanding of relevant legal and ethical standards governing mental health practice.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to establish rapport with clients.

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively within a healthcare team framework.

• Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) software and other relevant technologies.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or other evidence-based practices.
