Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive clinical assessments using established evidence-based practices to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's unique needs.

• Implement a variety of therapeutic interventions such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and mindfulness techniques, ensuring that clients receive the most effective therapeutic modalities suited to their conditions.

• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations, safeguarding client information and upholding ethical standards.

• Collaborate with a team of mental health professionals to deliver holistic care and facilitate multidisciplinary discussions focused on client progress.

• Participate in regular case consultations, peer review meetings, and continuous professional development workshops aimed at enhancing therapeutic practices and knowledge.

• Educate clients and their families about mental health issues and the treatment options available, encouraging informed decision-making and fostering empowerment through resilience training.

• Stay current with advancements in mental health research and methodologies, integrating new knowledge into service delivery to ensure evidence-based care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse population of clients experiencing various mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, depression, trauma-related conditions, and adjustment disorders. Your nuanced understanding of these issues will allow you to support clients in navigating their mental health journeys, promoting recovery and wellness.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• An active license in New York to practice as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), or Licensed Psychoanalyst/Psychologist.

• Demonstrated proficiency in solution-focused therapy interventions, showcasing your ability to customize therapies based on individual client needs.

• Exceptional communication skills and emotional intelligence necessary to build and maintain strong therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Robust critical thinking and problem-solving skills that can effectively address complex client issues and foster positive outcomes.
