Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting that allows you to provide therapy from the comfort of your home while maintaining flexibility in your schedule. Our office hours are Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with occasional evening or weekend shifts on a rotational basis. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients presenting with mood disorders, identifying the severity and patterns of symptoms.

• Collaborate with clients to formulate personalized treatment plans designed to meet their unique goals and preferences, incorporating their feedback as foundational to the therapeutic process.

• Utilize evidence-based methodologies such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to deliver effective interventions tailored for mood disorders.

• Provide psychoeducation to clients and their families, equipping them with knowledge about mood disorders and available treatment options.

• Regularly monitor and assess clients’ progress throughout the therapeutic journey, adapting treatment plans based on their evolving needs.

• Work closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a unified approach toward managing clients’ mental health.

• Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of client interactions, assessments, and treatment plans in compliance with ethical and legal standards.

• Engage in ongoing professional development through participation in case consultations, training workshops, and team meetings, ensuring you remain informed about best practices.

• Serve as a passionate advocate for clients, working to reduce stigma associated with mood disorders and promoting mental health awareness.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work primarily with individuals suffering from a range of mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related issues. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, making cultural competence and empathy essential in building productive therapeutic relationships. You will have the opportunity to positively influence their mental health journeys and support their healing processes through individualized care.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid and current licensure as an LCSW, LCSW-R, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

• Strong communication skills that enable effective rapport building with clients.

• A solid understanding of current treatment methodologies and resources available for mood disorders.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, a minimum of two years of post-licensure experience specializing in mood disorders is preferred. Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities specific to mood disorders, combined with knowledge of psychopharmacology, enhances the effectiveness of collaborative treatment efforts within this role.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers a competitive salary range between $80,000 and $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
