Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health evaluations through initial consultations, identifying clients' needs and treatment goals.
\n
• Develop and document individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based practices and cater to clients’ unique circumstances.
\n
• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and others as appropriate.

• Regularly monitor and evaluate client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
\n
• Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare professionals, including psychologists, psychiatrists, and social workers, to create comprehensive intervention strategies.
\n
• Manage client referrals efficiently, including liaising with community resources and external providers.
\n
• Provide ongoing support and education to family members and primary caregivers on managing behavioral health challenges.
\n
• Stay informed on the latest trends and research in mental health to continually improve delivery of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse population, including individuals, couples, families, and groups facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
\n
• Success in the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems, preferably AVATAR or similar platforms.
\n
• Strong written and verbal communication skills along with a warm and empathic demeanor that fosters client trust.

Preferred Experience\n

• Prior experience working as a mental health counselor within a telehealth setting is preferred.
\n
• Knowledge of co-occurring disorders, including addiction and associated physical and emotional health conditions.
\n
• Familiarity with the best practices of the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• An understanding of pharmacological implications related to client treatment.
\n
• Demonstrated ability to provide clinical documentation that meets state and federal standards.

Compensation and Benefits\n
