Work Environment

The role is primarily onsite within our assisted living facility in Utica, NY, where you will work closely with both patients and fellow healthcare providers. Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner at Complete Care, you will:

• Perform comprehensive health assessments, including physical exams, health histories, and diagnostic testing.
• Analyze patient data to diagnose medical conditions and determine appropriate treatment strategies.
• Prescribe medications in accordance with regulations, taking into consideration factors such as efficacy, safety, and cost-effectiveness.
• Recommend lifestyle modifications and behavioral interventions to help patients manage health risks.
• Provide thorough patient education on self-management of chronic or acute illnesses, tailoring strategies to individual patient needs.
• Utilize Electronic Health Records efficiently, ensuring accurate documentation and compliance with healthcare regulations.
• Engage in continuous collaboration with physicians and nursing staff to develop and implement coordinated care plans for patients.
• Participate in regular team meetings to discuss patient progress, share insights, and contribute to overall care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with elderly residents and patients who may have chronic health issues requiring ongoing treatment and management. This role will involve developing strong relationships with patients, ensuring their healthcare needs are met holistically. Qualifications

• Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) or Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) from an accredited program.
• Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in New York State.
• National certification from either the American Association of Nurse Practitioners (AANP) or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
• Understand and navigate the Electronic Health Records system effectively.

Compensation and Benefits
