As a remote therapist, you will practice telehealth, utilizing advanced technology to connect with clients in a supportive virtual environment. Key Responsibilities\n

• Perform comprehensive assessments to gauge the severity, frequency, and duration of symptoms associated with mood disorders in clients.

• Engage in collaborative discussions with clients, crafting individualized treatment plans that prioritize their unique goals, preferences, and circumstances.

• Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) tailored to the specific challenges posed by mood disorders.

• Continuously monitor and evaluate clients' progress throughout their treatment journey, adapting treatment plans to maximize clinical effectiveness.

• Remain updated on the latest advancements in the treatment of mood disorders, integrating new research into your therapeutic approach.

• Maintain up-to-date and confidential documentation of all client interactions and treatment plans, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Participate actively in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development workshops aimed at enhancing therapeutic skills and staying informed about clinical best practices.

• Act as a mental health advocate for clients, working to de-stigmatize mood disorders within the community.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals experiencing a range of mood disorders including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Our practice serves a diverse population, encompassing clients from various cultural, socioeconomic, and demographic backgrounds. This diversity requires sensitivity to cultural nuances in treatment approaches.

Qualifications\n

• Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience in clinical practice, particularly in treating mood disorders.
\n
• Strong proficiency in evidence-based treatments, particularly CBT and DBT.

• A robust understanding of psychopharmacology and the ability to collaborate effectively with psychiatrists and other medical staff.

• Demonstrable success in delivering positive therapeutic outcomes for clients with mood disorders.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an aptitude for building rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The compensation for this role is competitive, ranging from $115,000 to $130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to salary, we are pleased to offer a sign-on bonus to help you transition into your new role more comfortably.
