Key Responsibilities\n

Your daily responsibilities will include:

• Collaborating with school counselors and teachers to create comprehensive support frameworks tailored to the unique challenges faced by students.

• Conducting thorough clinical evaluations to assess emotional, psychological, and social needs, thereby informing individualized care plans.

• Implementing targeted interventions designed to improve client outcomes, adapting strategies based on client progress and feedback.

• Providing education and resources to empower clients and their families, including strategies for coping with stress, anxiety, and other mental health concerns.

• Staying current with developments in mental health care best practices to ensure delivery of the highest quality services.

• Documenting all client interactions and care plans meticulously using our integrated electronic health record (EHR) system.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with a diverse student population among various school levels, from elementary through high school. This role will necessitate a deep understanding of the unique social and emotional challenges faced by students in today’s educational landscape, including issues related to academic pressure, family dynamics, and peer interactions.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, you should possess:

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.

• A valid LCSW license in the state of New Jersey.

• Experience in clinical evaluation, including the ability to develop and implement effective treatment strategies.

Preferred Experience\n

While a minimum of two years of experience is required, candidates with additional experience in school-based counseling or a specialization in adolescent mental health will be given preference. Practical experience in supervising or mentoring junior staff members may also be beneficial.

Compensation and Benefits\n
