Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our rehabilitation facility in Lehigh Acres, where you will work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team of professionals. Our facility is designed to provide a warm and welcoming atmosphere, fully equipped with the latest tools and technologies needed to deliver tailored treatment strategies. Working hours are Monday to Friday in 40-hour shifts, allowing for a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patient needs, determining the most effective physical therapy interventions.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans that utilize diverse methodologies, including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and specialized equipment to reduce pain and enhance mobility.
• Document patient progress meticulously, tracking treatment responses and adjusting plans as necessary to optimize outcomes.
• Reassess patients periodically to redefine therapeutic goals, ensuring strategies align with each patient's evolving needs.
• Educate patients, caregivers, and families on recovery techniques, assistive device use, and continuation of care procedures.
• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and advancements through ongoing professional development and training workshops.

Patient Population / Client Focus

In this role, you will work primarily with patients recovering from a variety of conditions, including musculoskeletal injuries, surgical procedures, and neurological disorders. Our patient population ranges from young adults to seniors, each with unique rehabilitation needs. Understanding the individual circumstances of each client will enable you to tailor your approach effectively and promote improved patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
• Must hold a valid physical therapy license in the state of Florida.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential for effective patient education and interaction.
• Proficient computer skills, including word processing and familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems.
• Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced rehabilitation environment.

Preferred Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of previous experience as a licensed Physical Therapist is preferred but not mandatory.
• Prior exposure to various treatment modalities and techniques in physical therapy practice is advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges between USD 100,000 and 120,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:
