Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients referred by physicians, developing tailored treatment plans based on individual needs and circumstances.
• Implement and advance evidence-based therapeutic interventions, focusing on orthopedic conditions while also treating a diverse range of patients in pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine specialties.
• Deliver high-quality therapeutic care to patients both in-clinic and during home visits, utilizing advanced techniques aligned with physician-directed plans of care.
• Educate patients and their caregivers about exercises and strategies to enhance recovery, facilitating understanding and encouraging involvement in the recovery process.
• Maintain clear documentation of patient progress, treatment objectives, and any modifications in therapeutic approaches, ensuring compliance with organizational standards.
• Work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team to maximize patient outcomes and meet minimum utilization goals.
• Provide exceptional customer service, building solid relationships with patients to foster trust and commitment to their rehabilitation journey.

Patient Population / Client Focus

At Clearwater Valley Rehabilitation Center, you will primarily engage with orthopedic patients grappling with a variety of conditions, including post-operative recovery, sports injuries, and chronic pain issues. Additionally, our diverse practice gives you the opportunity to work with pediatric, neurologic, and sports medicine patients, allowing you to expand your therapeutic skills and adapt techniques to meet varied patient needs.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-accredited program is required, with preference given to candidates holding a Doctorate in Physical Therapy.
• A current State License in Physical Therapy is essential.
• Basic Life Support Certification from the American Heart Association.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively interact with patients, team members, and external partners.
• Proficiency in word processing and electronic documentation systems.
• A drive to develop strong, trusting relationships with patients, aiding them in achieving and exceeding their functional goals.
• A commitment to community engagement and collaboration within local networks.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in an orthopedic rehabilitation setting is highly desirable.
• Continuing education in specialized treatment methodologies or technologies relevant to orthopedic care.
• Experience with managing a diverse client base and adapting treatment plans accordingly.

Compensation and Benefits
