Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your main responsibilities will include:

• Managing a caseload of clients, maintaining professional boundaries while establishing trusting and ethical relationships.

• Conducting regular client meetings to monitor progress, discuss stability, and assess discharge readiness when necessary.

• Creating, implementing, and regularly updating individualized treatment plans in collaboration with clients to meet their unique needs.

• Maintaining detailed and accurate documentation, including progress notes and treatment details, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations.

• Conducting intake assessments as required to evaluate new clients’ mental health needs.

• Providing a specified number of individual therapy sessions each week, focusing on youth and their specific mental health challenges.

• Participating in individual supervision sessions for professional development and support.

• Collaborating closely with other healthcare providers, facilitating a team-oriented approach to client care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on youth clients, addressing a wide range of mental health issues, including anxiety, depression, and behavioral challenges. In doing so, you will directly contribute to improving their mental health and overall quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Master's Degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in Texas.

• Ability to meet the internal credentialing requirements set forth by our clinic.

• A minimum of one year of experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

• Experience in assessment, diagnosis, and providing both individual and group therapy.

• Proficient in using computers and handling basic office software for documentation and client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

We value prior experience that demonstrates your ability to work constructively with youth in a counseling setting. Familiarity with telehealth platforms and techniques will be an advantage, as will any additional certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques.
