Work Environment

This position is fully remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while accessing a fully operational telehealth platform. Our practice values flexibility, ensuring that you can manage your schedule effectively while meeting patient needs. The typical work hours are Monday to Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required as dictated by patient sessions. Furthermore, you will utilize various digital tools and electronic health record (EHR) systems to maintain efficient documentation and care coordination.

Key Responsibilities

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and goals to develop tailored treatment plans that promote well-being.
• Delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy, to foster positive outcomes in individual and group settings.
• Facilitating psychoeducational support groups that address common mental health challenges, creating a safe space for patients to share and connect with others facing similar issues.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, psychologists, and peers to provide comprehensive and holistic patient care.
• Providing crisis intervention services and emotional support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patients receive immediate and appropriate care.
• Educating patients on their mental health conditions, treatment methodologies, and available community resources to empower them in their recovery journey.
• Maintaining accurate and confidential patient records in compliance with all legal and ethical standards.
• Participating actively in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities to enhance skills and treatment efficacy.
• Keeping current with the latest research findings and advancements in mental health therapy to ensure the highest quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve at Hope Again Therapy are diverse and often include individuals grappling with severe and persistent mental illnesses. The majority of our patients seek support stemming from anxiety, depression, traumatic experiences, and relationship issues. You will have the rewarding opportunity to provide remote therapy, reaching those who may otherwise face barriers to accessing traditional in-person services.

Qualifications

To be considered for this position, candidates must possess:

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Texas.
• A strong understanding of mental health disorders and the ability to implement evidence-based treatment modalities.
• Proficiency in conducting detailed mental health assessments and formulating effective treatment plans.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, with a commitment to maintaining professional ethics and boundaries.
• Experience with electronic health record systems, ensuring effective documentation and patient tracking.
• The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to enhance patient outcomes.

Preferred Experience

Preferred qualifications include a minimum of two years of direct experience in mental health counseling or therapy, with an emphasis on providing telehealth services. Familiarity with working with diverse populations and a commitment to ongoing education to improve therapeutic practices are highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits
