Key Responsibilities

• Conduct individual mental health counseling sessions through secure video platforms, ensuring an ethical and empathetic approach to client care.
• Utilize evidence-based treatment modalities to design and implement individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Facilitate therapeutic conversations to help clients gain insights into their emotions, thoughts, and relational patterns.
• Monitor client progress throughout the duration of the treatment plan, adjusting strategies and interventions as necessary to promote effective outcomes.
• Assist clients in developing healthy coping mechanisms and skills to manage their mental health challenges.
• Maintain accurate and confidential clinical documentation while minimizing administrative duties through our efficient counselor portal.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on providing care to stable, low-acuity adults experiencing a range of mental health issues. These may include anxiety, depression, life transitions, and relationship challenges. By helping clients to articulate their feelings and develop coping strategies, you will play a pivotal role in enhancing their quality of life.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in a relevant field, such as Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology.
• A current, state-issued license to practice independently in mental health counseling, such as LMFT, LPC, LCSW, or a doctoral-level license.
• No pending disciplinary actions or restrictions on your license.
• Strong interpersonal skills and an empathetic nature, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Proficient computer skills with the ability to effectively use technology for telehealth practices, including having a reliable computer with webcam capabilities.
• A dependable internet connection to facilitate remote counseling sessions.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience in a counseling role focusing on adult populations is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with solution-focused therapeutic models and the ability to implement them effectively in client sessions.
• A track record of managing a full clinical caseload efficiently while maintaining high standards of client care.
