Work Environment\n

This position offers a remote work setting, allowing flexibility while maintaining a strong connection with our supportive team. The standard work schedule is Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with some flexibility required depending on patient needs. You will engage in virtual therapy sessions, case discussions, and collaborative meetings with colleagues, ensuring a seamless integration of care.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate each patient’s trauma history and develop tailored treatment approaches.

• Design and implement evidence-based individualized treatment plans that prioritize trauma recovery and resilience building.

• Utilize therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to help patients process their experiences.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, offering a supportive environment for patients to explore their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Coordinate closely with psychiatrists and interdisciplinary professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to patient care.

• Provide crisis intervention support for patients in trauma-related emergencies, demonstrating quick and compassionate responses.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms, empowering them with resources for recovery.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation aligned with legal and ethical standards, utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems as needed.

• Participate in case consultations, team meetings, and ongoing professional development opportunities focused on trauma-informed care.

• Continuously update knowledge of the latest research and methodologies in trauma therapy to enhance clinical practice and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on individuals who have experienced various forms of trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, dissociative disorders, and other trauma-related challenges. By employing a trauma-informed approach, you will guide patients through their healing journeys, supporting them in reclaiming their lives and fostering resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York is essential.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in a clinical setting is preferred.

• Proficiency in trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities, with a strong foundation in resilience-building approaches.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, reflecting a compassionate and non-judgmental demeanor.

• A capacity to remain calm and effective during high-stress situations.

• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and familiar with various computer applications.

• Strong ability to collaborate effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from $90,000 to $110,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
