Key Responsibilities\n

In your role as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will undertake a variety of essential tasks that make a tangible difference in your clients' lives:

• Conduct weekly individual therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client on your caseload.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions and educational meetings, fostering a collaborative and supportive environment for shared learning and growth.

• Coordinate comprehensive treatment services, including developing and executing individualized treatment and discharge plans.

• Engage regularly with clients' family members and referral sources to ensure cohesive support throughout their treatment journey.

• Attain and maintain accurate client records that adhere to licensing standards, ensuring all documentation is thorough and complete.

• Attend clinical team meetings actively, sharing insights and collaborating with Primary Therapists for effective treatment planning.

• Support clients in overcoming barriers and encourage active involvement in their day-to-day treatment activities.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on a diverse range of clients, each facing unique challenges in their mental health journey. This may include individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health disorders. Your expertise will guide them through their healing process, assisting them in developing coping strategies and achieving their personal therapeutic goals.

Qualifications\n

To excel in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master's Degree in Clinical Psychology, Social Work, or a related field (e.g., MA in Clinical Psych, MA in Counseling, MA in Clinical Social Work).

• Active licensure as an LCSW, LPC, LCPC, LMHC, or LMFT in California. (Please note, applicants with an associate license cannot be considered).

• Proficient computer skills, particularly with the Microsoft Office Suite, and experience using electronic health record (EHR) systems.

• A self-directed approach with the ability to manage a full caseload in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred Experience\n

While not mandatory, experience working with geriatric populations is highly desirable. This role requires a deep understanding of various therapeutic modalities and the ability to engage and support clients of all ages and backgrounds in their healing process.

Compensation and Benefits\n
