Work Environment\n

This position is primarily remote, allowing you to provide services from the comfort of your own home while still enjoying the collaborative spirit of our outpatient office environment. Our team utilizes secure communication platforms and electronic health records to facilitate seamless interaction with clients and maintain high standards of confidentiality. You will work during standard business hours, Monday through Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, ensuring a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Deliver mindfulness-based interventions to clients, specifically employing Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) techniques for effective stress reduction and emotional well-being.

• Conduct initial assessments to identify unique client stressors, therapeutic goals, and develop tailored mindfulness practices to meet their specific needs.

• Guide clients through mindfulness exercises, meditation, and guided breathing techniques, promoting self-awareness, emotional balance, and stress relief.

• Facilitate group workshops and classes focused on mindfulness practices, resilience-building strategies, and effective stress management techniques.

• Incorporate mindfulness techniques into individual therapy sessions to address clients' mental health challenges, fostering their personal development.

• Collaborate with fellow therapists and healthcare providers to create comprehensive treatment plans integrating mindfulness for holistic wellness.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation regarding client progress, mindfulness interventions, and personalized treatment plans.

• Engage in personal mindfulness practice and continuous professional development to enhance skills related to mindfulness and therapeutic interventions.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Mindfulness-Based Mental Health Counselor at Wellbe Health Care, you will work primarily with adults facing various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, stress-related disorders, and life transitions. By utilizing mindfulness techniques, you will assist clients in navigating their unique challenges and improving their psychological well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in Washington state.

• Demonstrated proficiency in integrating mindfulness practices into clinical interventions.

• Excellent communication skills, with a proven ability to foster a supportive and calming therapeutic atmosphere.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience or extensive training in Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR) is strongly preferred but not required.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $80,000 to $104,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
