Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct initial assessments and establish therapeutic relationships with clients to determine their mental health needs and treatment goals.

• Create comprehensive, individualized treatment plans using evidence-based practices tailored to a variety of mental health conditions, including anxiety, depression, and substance use disorders.

• Provide ongoing individual and group therapy sessions, utilizing culturally responsive approaches to engage and empower clients.
\n
• Regularly monitor client progress and adjust treatment plans as necessary, ensuring a responsive and adaptive approach to care.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as psychiatrists and social workers, to facilitate referrals and comprehensive care for clients.

• Document all client interactions and treatment plans accurately in our electronic health record (EHR) system to maintain compliance and support data-driven care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse group of clients, each with unique needs and backgrounds. Your experience will be vital in providing care for individuals coping with various challenges including, but not limited to, addiction, trauma, eating disorders, and mental health crises. With cultural competence and empathy, you will empower clients to develop coping strategies and tools necessary for their personal growth and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• Master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid license as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R in the state of New York.
\n
• A minimum of four years of relevant experience providing mental health counseling.
\n
• A comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders, evidence-based treatment modalities, and therapeutic interventions.

• Proficiency in delivering therapy to both individuals and groups, while employing inclusive and culturally sensitive approaches.

• Strong crisis intervention and conflict resolution abilities, maintaining professionalism in challenging scenarios.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a proven ability to build rapport with clients from diverse backgrounds.

• Experience utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other technology to enhance patient care.

Preferred Experience\n

• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and telehealth best practices.

• Experience in a community health setting is highly desirable.

• Additional certifications related to trauma-informed care or specific therapeutic modalities (e.g., CBT, DBT) will be considered a plus.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This full-time position offers a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $100,000 annually, based on experience and qualifications.
