Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments, focusing on clients' trauma histories to formulate appropriate treatment plans.

• Developing and implementing individualized treatment plans centered around trauma recovery and building resilience.
\n
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), to guide your clients through the healing process.

• Facilitating individual and group therapy sessions aimed at assisting patients in understanding their trauma, developing coping strategies, and fostering emotional healing.

• Collaborating with psychiatrists, case managers, and other professionals to ensure a seamless integration of care for each patient.

• Offering crisis intervention and support during trauma-related emergencies to promote patient safety and stability.

• Providing education to patients and their families regarding trauma responses, effective coping mechanisms, and the resources available to them.

• Maintaining accurate documentation in compliance with all legal and ethical standards, ensuring confidentiality and integrity of patient records.

• Participating in regular case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities that emphasize trauma-informed practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work with a diverse patient population composed largely of trauma survivors dealing with PTSD, complex trauma, and various dissociative disorders. Your work will be crucial in helping these individuals navigate their recovery pathways, providing them with the tools and support they need to reclaim their lives and achieve a sense of well-being.

Qualifications\n

The ideal candidate will possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.
\n
• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably with a focus on trauma.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-related disorders and trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating a compassionate and non-judgmental approach to client care.

• The ability to maintain composure in high-pressure situations while making informed decisions.

• Proficiency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and various computer applications necessary for practice.

• A collaborative approach to working within a multidisciplinary team.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
