Key Responsibilities\n

The essential responsibilities for this role include:

• Consulting collaboratively with a multidisciplinary prenatal care team, which may consist of medical providers, midwives, lactation consultants, and doulas to ensure integrated care.

• Co-facilitating childbirth education and postpartum support groups alongside experienced birth workers to empower and educate families.
\n
• Participating actively in community engagement initiatives that promote holistic wellness among families and birthing individuals.
\n
• Engaging in clinical consultation sessions and co-learning opportunities to enhance your skills and expertise alongside other mental health professionals.
\n
• Thoroughly documenting all clinical interactions, assessments, and therapy sessions to maintain compliance with legal and organizational standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your practice will involve working closely with a diverse range of clients, particularly focusing on individuals and families navigating the complexities of pregnancy, childbirth, and postpartum experiences. You will support clients in managing mental health concerns, improving emotional resilience, and fostering family dynamics through tailored therapeutic interventions.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Mental Health Counseling.
\n
• A current, active license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) in California.

• Exceptional interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with a diverse range of interdisciplinary and multicultural professionals.

• The capability to work efficiently and independently while seeking assistance when necessary.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
