Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct in-depth initial assessments and ongoing evaluations of clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health to establish comprehensive treatment plans.

• Design and implement tailored individual and group therapy sessions, using techniques supported by the latest research in psychotherapy.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress, from preliminary interviews through to treatment conclusion.
\n
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team including psychiatrists, social workers, and medical professionals to align on intervention strategies and ensure holistic care for our clients.

• Monitor clients' responsiveness to treatment by regularly evaluating their progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary based on their feedback and clinical observations.

• Provide follow-up support and resources to clients who experience hospitalization, ensuring a smooth transition back into outpatient treatment.
\n
• Educate and support family members in understanding and managing various mental health challenges, engaging them in the treatment process where appropriate.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a licensed mental health counselor at Healing Escape, you will serve a wide range of clients, including individuals, couples, families, and groups grappling with various mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. Our diverse client base allows for a rich experience in addressing different life circumstances and promoting emotional resilience.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Texas is mandatory.
\n
• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Demonstrated experience as a mental health counselor with a proven track record in clinical settings.
\n
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems such as AVATAR and proficiency in utilizing telehealth platforms.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience working with clients dealing with physical health issues, emotional disturbances, and substance use challenges.

• Knowledge of the best practices established by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).
\n
• Strong understanding of psychotropic medications and their implications, particularly as prescribed by collaborating healthcare practitioners.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills that help in expressing clinical insights and fostering client trust.
\n
• Strong interpersonal skills marked by empathy, active listening, and collaboration with the healthcare community.

Compensation and Benefits\n

This position offers an attractive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000.
