The role of a Mental Health Counselor at our center is characterized by a collaborative and dynamic work environment. Key Responsibilities\n

As a Mental Health Counselor, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Developing and overseeing personalized treatment plans that align with evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position will primarily involve working with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, young adults, and families dealing with various mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse. You will be tasked with providing a supportive space for clients to express their concerns and work towards achieving their personal and family goals.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or Marriage and Family Therapy, with a valid and active license in Pennsylvania (LPC, LCSW, LMFT, or equivalent).

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling effective rapport-building with clients while maintaining professional boundaries.

• A commitment to cultural competency and an understanding of inclusive practices to provide equitable care for all clients.

Preferred Experience\n

While we welcome newly licensed therapists, candidates with a preferred minimum of 2-3 years of experience in mental health settings, specifically in individual and group therapy, as well as treatment for co-occurring disorders, will be highly regarded. New Life Psychological Health Center offers a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
