Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, culturally sensitive, strength-based assessments to understand the unique needs of new patients and their families.
\n
• Provide tailored individual and family therapy, guided by the assessment findings and ongoing client needs.
\n
• Complete accurate billing, documentation, individualized treatment plans, and insurance authorization forms promptly and within specified timelines to ensure smooth operational workflows.
\n
• Develop crisis plans and safety plans for patients experiencing acute challenges, as well as relapse prevention and wellness plans to support the maintenance of stable mental health.
\n
• Create effective discharge plans that outline follow-up care and resources to enhance recovery post-therapy.
\n
• Ensure adherence to all applicable federal and state laws, regulatory requirements, and Emory's internal policies and procedures.
\n
• Engage in continuous professional development by attending training sessions, workshops, and completing ongoing continuing education.
\n
• Participate actively in case consultations and agency meetings to share insights and learnings that enhance the quality of care provided.
\n
• Fulfill all licensing and required training updates in a timely manner.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work primarily with a diverse client base, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other mental health issues. Your role is essential in addressing the mental health needs of our community, ensuring every patient feels supported and empowered in their healing journey.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in social work, counseling, marriage and family therapy, or a related field that qualifies for licensure.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Mental Health Professional (LCPC, LMFT, LCSW) in the state of Illinois is required.
\n

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in a community health setting is highly desirable.
\n
• Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and a comfort level in providing therapy through digital mediums is a plus.

• Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and an ability to tailor approaches to fit individual client needs.

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary for this position ranges from USD 80,000 to USD 100,000 annually, commensurate with your experience and licensure level.
