Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough evaluations to assess patients' physical status and functional abilities, developing personalized treatment plans tailored to their specific needs.
• Implement evidence-based therapeutic interventions and techniques, tracking patient progress and making necessary adjustments to treatment protocols.
• Collaborate with medical teams, including physicians and other healthcare providers, to align treatment plans with physician recommendations and optimize patient outcomes.
• Deliver instruction and training to patients and caregivers, ensuring they understand their therapy, and how to apply it to their daily routines for sustained success.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient documentation and progress notes in compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
• Participate in continuous development initiatives and training programs to enhance your skills and stay current with industry best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will work predominantly with orthopedic patients, including individuals recovering from surgeries, sports injuries, or chronic pain issues. Your expertise will also extend to pediatric and neurologic patient populations, providing a diverse range of therapeutic interventions. As a cornerstone in their recovery, your role is vital in assisting patients to achieve their physical rehabilitation goals, regain their mobility, and restore their quality of life.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy from an APTA or CAPTE-approved program.
• Active state license in Physical Therapy in Florida.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.
• Proficiency in written and verbal communication, with a focus on building rapport with patients and families.
• Strong computer skills with familiarity in healthcare documentation software.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome recent graduates, candidates with prior experience in orthopedic settings, particularly in rehabilitation and outpatient clinics, will be prioritized. Experience using evidence-based practices, along with familiarity with treatment modalities such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities for pain management, will enhance your candidacy.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a robust salary, our benefits package includes:
