Employees | Value | Execution | Relationships Job Summary Primary duties include working closely with the HR department to administer field new hire paperwork, record entry, document control, support OEG's Drug Free Workplace Program, verify employment, manage unemployment claims, oversee the recognition program, and assist with special projects. Minimum Qualifications Must possess a working knowledge of business and human resource practices typically acquired through at least 2 years of HR experience and/or education. Key Skills & Competencies Demonstrated knowledge of multiple HR aspects including onboarding, HR policies, and practices. Maintain safe work practices. Maintain and safeguard confidential company information. Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work across diverse personalities with tact and flexibility. Proficiency with Microsoft Office and experience in HRIS systems. Job Responsibilities Coordinate and assist in new hire orientation paperwork for field employees. Assist with field new hire entry into UKG/Spectrum. Perform background checks and E-Verify for field new hires. Maintain HR documentation in UKG/Spectrum, including processing and scanning pertinent documents. Perform administrative and clerical activities for the human resource department. Complete verifications of employment and other requests requiring employment verification per established processes and procedures. Provide support to the Drug Free Workplace Program to ensure program compliance. Assist with employee recognition program and awards. Provide backup to receptionist. Perform additional duties as assigned. Preferred Qualifications Experience in a union environment. Compensation & Benefits Medical, dental, and vision insurance. PTO accrual of up to 120 hours in a full year (subject to plan terms thereafter). 7 company paid holidays.
