Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate patients' histories, inform treatment planning, and establish strong therapeutic relationships.

• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and enhancing patient resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to facilitate healing.

• Lead individual and group therapy sessions, helping clients process their trauma, explore coping strategies, and set goals for their recovery.

• Coordinate closely with psychiatrists and other care providers to ensure integrated and holistic treatment paths for patients.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention and support during emergencies, demonstrating critical judgement and care.

• Educate clients and their families about trauma responses and coping mechanisms while providing access to community resources.

• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation adhering to all legal and ethical guidelines, ensuring patient privacy is upheld.

• Engage in case consultations, participate in team meetings, and pursue professional development activities centered on trauma-informed approaches.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our work primarily encompasses individuals who have experienced trauma, including those with post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD), complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in California.

• Strong knowledge of trauma-informed treatment modalities and approaches.
\n
• Proficient in electronic health record (EHR) systems and basic computer applications.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
