Work Environment\n

This role offers the flexibility of remote work while maintaining a strong connection to our outpatient office. You will enjoy a structured Monday through Friday work schedule, with hours from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. While the majority of your work will be conducted remotely, there may be moments requiring slight adjustments in scheduling to accommodate the diverse needs of our patients. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed mental health assessments to explore patients' histories and determine the most effective treatment strategies.

• Design and execute individualized treatment plans focused on trauma recovery and enhancing resilience, tailored to each patient's unique experiences and requirements.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) during therapeutic interventions.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, guiding patients through the process of trauma processing and the development of essential coping strategies.

• Collaborate with psychiatrists, clinical team members, and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated care that addresses all aspects of a patient's mental health.

• Deliver crisis intervention and immediate support during trauma-related emergencies to ensure patient safety and stability.

• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, translate coping mechanisms, and connect them with available resources and support systems.

• Maintain accurate, confidential, and legally compliant documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans in accordance with ethical standards.

• Engage in regular case consultations and participate in team meetings, contributing to a knowledge-sharing environment focused on trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of advancements in trauma therapy and best practices to enhance therapeutic effectiveness and patient outcomes.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will work closely with a diverse clientele, primarily individuals who have experienced trauma. This includes those with PTSD, complex trauma histories, and dissociative disorders seeking comprehensive mental health support. Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Active and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Arizona.

• At least 2 years of post-licensure experience in mental health counseling, specifically related to trauma-focused therapy preferred.

• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and established treatment modalities, along with a dedicated approach to resilience-building.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, demonstrating empathy and a non-judgmental approach to client interactions.

• Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure and respond effectively in high-stress situations.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and relevant computer applications.
