Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive trauma-informed assessments to evaluate clients' unique histories, tailoring the therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs.

• Provide evidence-based therapeutic interventions, utilizing modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT).

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, creating a safe space for clients to process their trauma and develop effective coping strategies.

• Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated approach to client care, thereby optimizing overall patient outcomes.

• Deliver crisis intervention and support, providing immediate assistance and stabilization to clients in trauma-related emergencies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your focus will be primarily on clients who are trauma survivors, including those suffering from PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current licensure as an LCSW, LPCC, or LMFT in the state of California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in delivering mental health counseling services.

• Proven experience in implementing trauma-focused therapies and interventions.
