Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough trauma-informed mental health assessments to accurately evaluate patients’ trauma histories and current mental health needs.

• Develop and implement targeted, individualized treatment plans that focus on trauma recovery and the enhancement of personal resilience.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions, including Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT), during individual and group therapy sessions.

• Facilitate group therapy sessions to create a safe space for shared experiences and collective healing.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and other multidisciplinary professionals to ensure comprehensive, integrated care for patients.

• Provide crisis intervention services when patients experience trauma-related emergencies or acute distress.
\n
• Educate patients and their families on trauma responses, coping strategies, and available resources to enhance their support systems.
\n
• Maintain accurate, confidential records of patient progress, treatment plans, and outcomes, adhering to all legal and ethical standards.

• Participate in regular case consultations, team meetings, and continuing education activities centered on trauma-informed care.

• Stay abreast of emerging research and best practices in trauma therapy to continuously improve the therapeutic services offered.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with individuals impacted by trauma, including those with PTSD, complex trauma, and dissociative disorders. Our patient population is diverse and may include individuals from various backgrounds, age groups, and life experiences. Your role is essential in helping these individuals find hope, healing, and paths toward recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A relevant Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in California.

• A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure experience in the mental health field.
\n
• Strong understanding of trauma-related disorders and proficiency in trauma-informed treatment modalities.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on creating a compassionate and supportive environment.

• Ability to maintain calm and composed in high-stress situations, ensuring patient safety and support.

• Competency in electronic health record (EHR) systems and proficiency with relevant technology.

Compensation and Benefits\n
