Korunda Physical Therapy is actively seeking a dedicated and passionate Full-Time Physical Therapist (PT) to join our office located in Chantilly, Virginia. Work Environment

The role is situated within our well-equipped Rehabilitation Center, which provides an onsite environment conducive to both teamwork and individual focus. Our facility features state-of-the-art rehabilitation equipment and a supportive atmosphere where physical therapists can thrive. You will work Monday through Friday in a standard 40-hour week, allowing for a balanced approach to work and personal life.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients referred by physicians to determine their physical therapy needs and establish individualized treatment plans.
• Utilize evidence-based practices to administer a variety of therapeutic interventions, monitoring patient progress and adjusting treatment strategies as necessary.
• Communicate effectively with patients and their families, ensuring they understand their treatment plans while providing education about their conditions and rehabilitation processes.
• Demonstrate commitment to delivering exceptional customer service and patient care, focusing on quality outcomes that meet or exceed organizational standards.
• Collaborate with our healthcare team to enhance patient care, contributing to interdisciplinary meetings and treatment planning sessions.
• Document patient progress accurately in compliance with state regulations and facility policies, ensuring all clinical records are maintained meticulously.
• Meet clinical productivity benchmarks while participating in marketing initiatives to promote our services in the wider community.

Patient Population / Client Focus

As a Physical Therapist at Korunda, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population, including individuals with orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, pediatric conditions, and sports medicine needs. Your role will be vital in helping patients regain their functional independence, improve their quality of life, and achieve their rehabilitation goals.

Qualifications

• A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) from an accredited program is required.
• Valid state license as a Doctor of Physical Therapist (DPT) by the Physical Therapy Examining Committee.
• Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience in a similar setting.
• Current certification in CPR.
• Excellent interpersonal communication skills to effectively build rapport with patients and their families.
• Proficient computer skills, including experience with electronic health records (EHR).
• Strong team player with a commitment to professional development and community involvement.

Preferred Experience

While two years of experience are required, candidates with specialized training or experience in pediatric, orthopedic, or neurologic physical therapy will be given preference. Experience with evidence-based practices and familiarity with current rehabilitation technologies are also advantageous.

Compensation and Benefits
