Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at InCore Physical Therapy, you will work onsite, visiting patients in their homes. This setting allows for a unique opportunity to assess a patient's functional status in their own environment, which can significantly enhance treatment effectiveness. You will work Monday through Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, promoting a healthy work-life balance while dedicating your skills to patients who benefit from the convenience and comfort of home care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive physical assessments of patients to evaluate movement disorders, balance, and mobility challenges, crafting detailed evaluations that inform subsequent treatment.
• Utilize clinical judgment to identify the root causes of pain and dysfunction, applying evidence-based methodologies to guide your approach.
• Design and implement individualized rehabilitation programs specifically tailored to each patient's rehabilitation goals and physical capabilities, ensuring measurable progress.
• Maintain thorough and timely documentation of patient care and progress utilizing electronic medical record (EMR) systems, which facilitates communication with the healthcare team and compliance with regulatory standards.
• Educate patients and their families on rehabilitation processes, injury prevention strategies, and wellness techniques to empower them in managing their health.
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in physical therapy practices and participate in continuing education opportunities for professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your practice will primarily involve managing a diverse patient population, including individuals recovering from orthopedic surgeries, sports injuries, and those requiring rehabilitation for chronic conditions. Each patient appointment will provide a unique set of challenges, making adaptability and innovative thinking key attributes that will contribute significantly to your success in this role.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid license to practice as a Physical Therapist (PT) in New Jersey.
• A Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree or equivalent educational background is required.
• Possession of strong communication and interpersonal skills is essential for interacting effectively with patients and collaborating with other healthcare professionals.
• Experience developing and implementing specific treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.
• Demonstrated ability to deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to enhance overall patient experiences and outcomes.

Preferred Experience

• We prefer candidates who have at least two years of experience working as a physical therapist in clinical or outpatient settings.

Compensation and Benefits

InCore offers a competitive salary range of $100,000 to $120,000 per year commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
