Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Professional Counselor, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Managing a diverse caseload of clients, ensuring rapport and trust while upholding professional ethics and boundaries.

• Conducting regular sessions with clients to monitor their progress, discuss stability, and plan for discharge when appropriate.
\n
• Developing, implementing, and continuously monitoring personalized treatment plans that empower clients to achieve their goals.
\n
• Maintaining accurate and timely documentation, including progress notes and treatment summaries, to ensure compliance with organizational policies and improve client outcomes.
\n
• Conducting initial intake assessments to identify client needs and tailor treatment approaches accordingly.
\n
• Engaging in weekly individual supervision sessions to enhance clinical skills and effectiveness.
\n
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare providers in coordinating care and addressing holistic client needs.

• Adopting a growth mindset in all aspects of your work, actively seeking professional development opportunities and training.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on youth, providing therapeutic support to help them navigate challenges related to mental health. This may include guiding clients through anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral issues. Your approach will be rooted in a client-centered philosophy that respects each individual's unique experiences and goals.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling or a related field.
\n
• Current licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC).
\n
• Proven ability to meet internal credentialing requirements in clinical settings.
\n
• A minimum of one year of clinical experience working with psychiatric patients and/or substance abuse populations.

Preferred Experience\n

The following experiences are preferred but not required:

• Previous experience in conducting assessments and formulating diagnoses.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy sessions.

• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and a strong grasp of computer skills for documentation and communication.
