Work Environment

Located in the heart of Arlington, our outpatient office serves a diverse patient population, allowing for comprehensive and engaging therapy sessions. In this professional and friendly environment, you will focus on one-on-one interactions with clients and partner with fellow healthcare personnel to facilitate a holistic approach to healing. Regular working hours are from Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, providing a balanced work-life integration.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments of up to 7 residents daily, identifying specific physical challenges and developing individualized treatment plans designed to optimize their health outcomes.
• Employ hands-on therapy techniques, including manual therapy and therapeutic exercises, to alleviate pain, enhance mobility, and restore functional capabilities.
• Document all therapy sessions meticulously using electronic medical records (EMR) systems, ensuring accurate and efficient record-keeping that supports patient care and legal compliance.
• Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, engaging in case discussions to provide insights on each patient's progress and developing strategies for their ongoing treatment.
• Actively foster an encouraging atmosphere that motivates patients to engage in their rehabilitation goals and responsibilities.
• Stay abreast of current trends and best practices in physical therapy, applying new techniques where beneficial to patient care.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patients you will support at Rise Physical Health Therapy range from those recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic conditions, to individuals seeking assistance with mobility and functional challenges as they age. Each client presents unique needs, and your role is crucial in customizing therapy that is both effective and empathetic.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a higher-level degree (Master's or Doctorate) from an accredited institution is essential.
• An active Physical Therapy license in the state of Virginia is required to practice.
• A strong commitment to patient-centered care, with an aptitude for empathy and effective communication.
• Proficiency in manual therapy techniques and foundational physical therapeutic interventions.
• Experience with EMR software to streamline documentation and enhance care delivery.

Preferred Experience

• While a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience is preferred, we also welcome new graduates who exhibit passion and dedication to patient care.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 90,000 – 100,000 annually, reflecting your experience and expertise.
