Key Responsibilities\n

As an LCSW with Cornerstone Mental Health Counseling, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Providing high-quality individual and couples therapy tailored to a diverse range of clients, ensuring each session fosters an environment of trust and safety.

• Utilizing our dedicated billing service to manage claims and insurance queries, allowing you to focus on client care without administrative burden.

• Maintaining accurate and timely client records through our electronic medical records (EMR) system, supporting seamless communication and continuity of care.

• Scheduling and managing ongoing appointments, ensuring consistency in follow-up and therapeutic progress.

• Demonstrating adaptability in working with clients facing varied clinical backgrounds, from mild adjustments to acute issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your primary focus will be on working with students and their families, providing critical support in a school environment. Understanding the challenges of adolescence and the importance of mental health in educational settings, you will take on the role of a key mental health advocate, helping students navigate personal and academic challenges.

Qualifications\n

To be successful in this role, candidates must meet the following qualifications:

• Possess a Master’s degree in Social Work or a related field.

• Be a licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia, with the ability to practice independently.

• Ability to work full-time, providing availability for a minimum of 20-25 hours/week, including at least two evenings weekly.
