Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments for elderly residents to identify and address specific psychological and emotional needs.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions that focus on common challenges such as grief, loss, and significant life changes associated with aging.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to design and implement holistic care plans tailored to the unique needs of our geriatric clients.

• Advocate for seniors by educating staff and family members on effective communication strategies and ways to support emotional health.

• Implement and maintain cognitive stimulation programs to promote mental agility and enhance overall well-being among residents.

• Provide specialized grief and loss counseling that supports both residents and their families as they navigate end-of-life issues.

The primary focus of this role is the geriatric population, encompassing elderly individuals facing various mental health challenges. Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

Compensation and Benefits\n

In recognition of your valuable contributions, we offer a competitive annual salary ranging from $80,000 to $105,000, along with potential sign-on bonuses.
