Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial client interviews to gather vital information and document case details from the first consultation to treatment completion.

• Evaluate clients’ mental, behavioral, and emotional health using evidence-based assessment tools.
\n
• Develop individualized intervention and recovery plans for clients across various demographics, including individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Lead engaging individual and group therapy sessions that foster emotional expression and coping skills.
\n
• Monitor and assess client progress throughout the treatment process, adjusting plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including psychiatrists and medical doctors, to create comprehensive intervention strategies.

• Provide follow-up care for clients admitted to hospitals to promote continuity of care.

• Identify potential barriers to recovery and facilitate strategies that empower clients and their families.

• Support primary caregivers and family members in understanding and managing their loved ones' mental health challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our client population is diverse, encompassing individuals facing various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. As a Mental Health Counselor, you will play a critical role in assessing, diagnosing, and treating clients by employing a range of therapeutic modalities and best practice approaches as outlined by organizations such as the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

Qualifications\n

• A minimum of a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• The candidate must have successfully completed and passed the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Solid foundation in clinical techniques and principles related to mental health treatment.

• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, backed by an empathetic approach to client interaction.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience as a Mental Health Counselor, with a minimum of two years in a clinical setting preferred.

• Familiarity with pharmacological treatments and their effects as it pertains to mental health care.

Fatima Behavioral Health Center offers a competitive salary range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 annually , commensurate with experience and skills.
