This full-time position offers a unique opportunity to work under the Division of Cardiology within our outpatient practice, the Center for Advanced Cardiac Care (CACC). You will be pivotal in enhancing patient care by collaborating closely with a multidisciplinary team, including Physicians, fellow Nurse Practitioners, and registered nursing staff. Work Environment

This position is based onsite at our Brooklyn facility, specifically set within a supportive, collaborative school setting that emphasizes preventative care and health education. Typical work hours span Monday to Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, offering a balanced work-life dynamic with no night or weekend shifts.

Key Responsibilities

As a Nurse Practitioner in our cardiology division, your responsibilities will include:

• Working alongside a team of seasoned Cardiologists to provide comprehensive cardiac evaluations.
• Managing chronic conditions such as Hypertension and Hyperlipidemia, ensuring effective treatment plans are in place.
• Delivering outpatient Electrophysiology services, assisting patients with abnormal electrocardiograms, arrhythmias, and implantable cardiac devices.
• Assessing and managing acute cardiovascular conditions, including Coronary Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, Peripheral Artery Disease, and Stroke.
• Conducting Stress Testing and interpreting results to inform treatment decisions.
• Performing patient histories and physical examinations, while prescribing necessary medications under physician supervision.
• Facilitating referrals to other specialists as needed to provide holistic care.
• Educating patients and their families about health maintenance and disease prevention.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for this role will possess:

• A Bachelor’s degree in Nursing from an accredited institution.
• A Master's degree or Doctoral degree in Nursing or a related program.
• Successful completion of an accredited Nurse Practitioner program, with appropriate national certification.
• A current and valid Nurse Practitioner license in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience

While we welcome both experienced practitioners and new graduates, preference will be granted to those with prior hands-on experience in cardiology, whether in outpatient or inpatient settings. Familiarity with competency in areas such as Electrophysiology and stress testing is highly advantageous. A passion for cardiovascular health and patient education will set candidates apart.

Compensation and Benefits
