Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with cardiologists to manage and treat patients diagnosed with chronic conditions such as hypertension and high cholesterol.
• Provide outpatient Electrophysiology services, including examination and management of patients with abnormal electrocardiograms and arrhythmias.
• Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical exams and histories, to inform diagnosis and treatment plans.
• Prescribe medications and develop tailored treatment plans in accordance with patient needs and evidence-based guidelines.
• Coordinate and perform stress testing procedures as needed to evaluate patients' cardiovascular health.
• Manage acute conditions such as Coronary Artery Disease, Peripheral Artery Disease, Congestive Heart Failure, and Transient Ischemic Attacks, providing timely interventions and referrals.
• Facilitate patient education programs to empower patients and families in understanding their health conditions and treatment options.
• Provide consultations and collaborate closely with other specialists within the organization when necessary.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on adult patients suffering from a variety of cardiovascular issues. This role requires a keen understanding of the complexities associated with outpatient cardiology, making it essential for you to effectively communicate with patients from diverse backgrounds. Qualifications

• A Bachelor’s degree in nursing from an accredited institution.
• Current licensure in New York as a Nurse Practitioner (FNP or AGPCNP) and eligibility to prescribe medications.
• Graduates of accredited Nurse Practitioner programs with appropriate certification.
• Strong clinical assessment skills, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in an outpatient cardiology setting or relevant clinical background in cardiovascular care.
• Proficiency in interpreting electrocardiograms and managing cardiovascular devices.
• Previous involvement in a multidisciplinary healthcare team.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of $120,000 to $220,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to the competitive salary, our comprehensive benefits package includes:
