Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct virtual therapy sessions with clients, utilizing secure video chat technology.

• Assess and diagnose a wide range of emotional and mental health disorders, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, grief, and stress-related issues.

• Develop personalized treatment plans and therapeutic strategies to assist clients in managing their mental health challenges.

• Implement evidence-based treatment modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Offer education and support, helping clients gain insight into their conditions and develop coping skills.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with stable adults experiencing low- to moderate-acuity emotional and mental health issues. Clients will have undergone initial screening to ensure they are appropriate for telehealth therapy. This enables a focused treatment environment where you can make a significant impact on their mental well-being.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LMHC, or LMFT in the state of New York.

Preferred Experience\n

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure clinical experience with a focus on mood disorders is highly preferred.
