Work Environment

Your workplace will be onsite, providing home care services that allow us to reach patients in their own environments, which is pivotal in offering effective mental health support. As a full-time PMHNP, you'll work during regular business hours, from 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a structured schedule that promotes work-life balance while fulfilling the essential needs of your patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough psychiatric assessments and evaluations to accurately diagnose patients and develop treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
• Provide ongoing medication management, ensuring that treatment regimens are effective and adjusting prescriptions as necessary based on patient responses.
• Collaborate closely with primary care providers and fellow healthcare professionals to ensure a coordinated approach to patient care.
• Provide crisis intervention and support to patients experiencing acute emotional distress, using evidence-based strategies to stabilize conditions.
• Engage in community outreach and education initiatives to enhance mental health awareness and decrease stigma surrounding mental health issues.
• Offer therapeutic support through counseling and psychoeducation, empowering patients with knowledge about their conditions and treatment options.

Qualifications

Compensation and Benefits
