Work Environment\n

This position operates primarily in a remote setting, with opportunities for client interaction through both virtual and physical consultations at our outpatient office in Arlington. Our work schedule is Monday to Friday, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, promoting a balanced work-life dynamic.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive initial assessments to effectively identify clients' stressors, challenges, and goals while customizing mindfulness practices to address individual concerns.

• Implement mindfulness-based interventions, including mindfulness exercises, meditation, and breathwork, aimed at enhancing self-awareness and fostering emotional stability.

• Facilitate engaging group workshops and classes centered on mindfulness practices, stress management strategies, and resilience-building techniques.

• Incorporate mindfulness methodologies into individual therapy sessions, directly addressing clients’ specific mental health concerns and guiding their overall emotional growth.

• Collaborate closely with other mental health professionals to ensure a cohesive treatment approach that integrates mindfulness practices effectively.

• Maintain comprehensive and accurate documentation of client progress, treatment plans, and mindfulness interventions, complying with all regulatory standards.

• Engage in ongoing personal mindfulness practice and professional development to deepen your expertise in mindfulness-based therapies.

Your clients will vary widely, encompassing individuals from diverse backgrounds seeking assistance with stress, anxiety, depression, and other mental health challenges. They will be looking for practical strategies to enhance their mental well-being through mindfulness and therapeutic support. Your role will be critical in creating a nurturing environment where clients feel safe to explore their thoughts and emotions.

Qualifications\n

• A Bachelor’s Degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

• Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas is mandatory.

• A strong foundation in mindfulness practices is preferred, with ongoing professional training strongly encouraged.

• Exceptional communication skills are essential, enabling you to create a supportive and calming therapeutic atmosphere for clients.

Preferred Experience\n

• Experience in delivering mindfulness-based stress reduction techniques, either in individual or group settings, is highly desirable.

Compensation and Benefits\n
